<center>Christmas break has been nice, but I'm kinda getting bored at the same time. I better enjoy it now though, since I don't get another break like this until this time next year. Ah! 

Christmas was pretty boring this year. We had Christmas Eve at Brendas new apartment. It was fun but a little cramped with that many people there. We left her house around 10:30 and came home and opened gifts. I got a new Cannon digital camera, bare minerals makeup, clothes, and scrubs. Christmas day I slept all day and went out later with Jess and Jay.

Yesterday was pretty much a repeat of Christmas. Slept most of the day, and went out at night except last night with Kristen and Ashley.

I need to figure out what I'm going to do for new years eve. The plan was to go to cellblock, but I believe those plans got ruined last night. I can picture now sitting at home by myself with a bottle getting drunk and passing out at midnight. Wouldn't be the first time I sat home alone on new years.

Anyway, I'm going to find something productive to do with myself today!

I'm into my second week at Tri-State now and its starting to get a little tough. I know, its only two classes, but its a semesters worth of information packed into six weeks. Monday - Friday 4 hours a day. Which means two hour classes. They fly by and theres so much information in such little time.

I had my first test yesterday in Med Term. I scored a 98%. I was really excited until I looked at the two that I missed and they were so stupid just because I didn't take my time to stop to think about what the terms meant. As soon as she handed back my test and I looked at them i was so disappointed. I know, I shouldn't be kicking myself in the ass over a freakin 98%, but I am.

Friday I have my first Psychology test. I know I'm going to be failing that one. My teacher just sucks! He doesn't even teach us anything. He gives us worksheets, and notes on a projector and then just sits on the computer while we work on our worksheets which half the time are worksheets we haven't even gotten notes on or anything. He gave us a study guide for the test which is completly useless. Ugh. Whatever all I can do is try my best. I know I'm going to be disappointed in the end though.

I'm seriously thinking about going to my advisor about my psych teacher though. Hes a really nice guy and really smart and when he talks about stuff, he really knows his stuff but hes just not good at teaching. Today we had to write a short paper on who we are and what makes us that way using the nature vs. nurture debate. But seriously how is that getting me ready for a test on friday? Our test is on the first three chapters of the book and we hadn't even gotten notes for chapter three when we were writing these papers! Ugh.

On a better note, Bentley will be here this weekend. :)

I got a 98% on my first test today. :)

Today and Yesterday have been really good days. Yesterday morning we went to some garage sales, we were on our way home and went the long way down our road and saw a house sale. We stopped in and the lady was selling her couch and love seat for $150. For both! So we told Nate and he went and scooped them. Now we have nice couches! Then we moved Shafts nasty ass couch to his bedroom so he almost has his own bed now!

Later we went shopping at Target and got a new carpet for our room, since we put our old one in the living room, and we got some sweet new sheets! Pirates, Soldiers, and Flamingos! Thennnnn today we went to Carmel to check out all the little shops and I discovered not only do we have a coach store 20 mins from my house, but also a Louis Vuitton AAAANNNNDDDD!!! A Tiffany and Co. Loves it.

After we went shopping we went to the little plaza near our house to go to Marshalls and Ross. I found $45 in the parking lot! Found an AWESOME dress for my birthday, got a sweet deal on a rug for the hallway! It didn't have a price so the guy grabbed a tag that said $6.99 from one of the other cheap rugs and put it on ours! And I got awesome new slippers. Now I'm calling it a day so I don't ruin my luck! Later tonight were going to see Captivity. I can't wait. I love horror movies.

3 Days till Katie comes, 6 Days till my Birthday, and 8 Days till Home! Oh how I love countdowns!

So I need to come up with a good workout. Last night I bought Carmen Electra's aerobic striptease. It does about nothing for me execpt make my arms and legs hurt. And yeah, that'd be great except I need to get rid of my stomach, not arm or leg fat. And its a bunch of dance moves which basically is the equivellent of running around the block a few times. I'd much rather do that cuz its a lot quicker lol.

So I went to the doctor today. I think I have an ulcer. I have this horrible pain in my stomach but I only get it when I'm drinking. I have like 2 drinks and I need to lay down for like 10-15 mins and then it goes away and I'm fine for the rest of  the night. I dunno, might just be acid reflex or something who knows. Anyway. she sent me for bloodwork and gave me some sample pills. Hopefully something will come up in my bloodwork because if not I have to have an endoscopy where they shove the camera down your throat into your stomach. How exciting, huh? It takes about a week to get the blood results back. Hopefully sooner. I hope to have all this taken care of before I go home so I can drink pain free. Haha. Only 1 week till Katie comes (yayyy Katie) and only 12 days till we fly home. I'm so excited I got to get on her flight. Flying alone really sucks. Its not horrible, but in the past 4 months I've done it twice. Well 3 times really. I can't sleep on planes usually because I feel uncomfortable sleeping next to a complete stranger. Like what if my arm falls on their side or something. Hopefully this trip will be better. :)

I put a video of Bentley on my myspace. Hes a freakin monster. Hes getting so big. I recorded him chasing a laser light last night. We got it for the cat, but Bentley goes nuts over it. He'd chase it up and down the hall all day if he could!

Well I'm off to go find something to make for dinner!

Oh yeah, no signs of Shaft leaving yet.

I've neglected to post an entry the past two weeks. I'm sorry to anyone who actually reads. Sooo...My main subject before my absence was Shaft graduating and leaving. Well, he graduated, but hes still here and showing no signs of leaving soon. Everyone keeps asking him when hes leaving and he just has no idea. If I was stationed somewhere shitty like this and my family was 5 hours away in freakin LA I'd be outta here the day I graduated and not looking back. I mean, who wouldn't want to spend a few weeks in LA relaxing, with their family before they have to drive cross country to a new command. Ugh, whatever. I just really want him gone. I'm so sick of the clutter and the mess. John and I were putting off cleaning the house until he left but we finally broke down and cleaned. But of course its just coming right back.

John was on break from class all last week so thats why I haven't really updated. I'm so glad he went back to class today. I think hes the only person on earth that doesn't get annoyed by other people. I can only spend so much time with one person before I want to rip my face off, and he got to that point. Over a week of spending every moment with him. Ugh. We went camping in Kings Canyon on Thursday. It was so beautiful. I took pictures and I've been trying to post them on myspace, but every time I try it says error. I don't know what thats about. 

(Speaking of Shaft he just got home. He goes to work for about 3 hours and then comes home. WTF. Leave.)

We also went to the aquarium, and checked out the Wharf and stuff here while he was on break. It wasn't horrible that he was home every day but towards the end I'd had enough lol.

I really just can't wait to go home for a couple months. Clean house, always have food, don't have to worry about reporting everything I do to anyone, I have friends and I can go out every night. And I'm gonna try to get my job back at Howie's for a while. Not my old position as Asst. Manager, but just as reg. crew for some extra money. I don't have to pay bills or anything, but I need money to support my drinking and shopping habits.

Well I'm off for some lunch! 

Shaft and Tre will be gone next weekend!! Shaft took his final yesterday and found oout today that he passed! Thank God! I don't know what I would do if he was going to be here any longer. I've already been counting down the days for weeks. Its down to 10! And the mess will only start improving since hes going to have to start packing soon! Yayy!!

Thats about all I have for today. My life is pretty boring now a days so I don't really have much to update about haha. Maybe I'll have some more tomorrow!

So tonight turned out to be a really awesome night. It was Joels birthday. Yesterady he stopped over and invited all of us out with them to Planet Gemini for his birthday. I wasn't sure if I was going to go or not but I decided today it might be what I need to make this place feel a little more like home. I went shopping with Whitney in Salinas and when I came home I stopped over to check to see what was going on. I asked who was driving and Zach said he was. Well, Zach is ALWAYS drunk, so I offered to drive. I ended up driving the whole goof troop! Zach, Joel, Lisa and Ralph. We had a really good time though. Minus Lisa being way too drunk before we even picked her up. Oh well.

Their just the kind of guys that even if you don't really know them they include you in everything. They introduce you to all their friends and you just feel comfortable around them.

We got to the bar around 8:15 for the two step lessons. Zach and I jumped in a little late but not too late. We got the simple stuff down, but as soon as it started to get complicated, I bailed. I couldn't handle it right then haha.

They were giving away prizes all night. The first one was Martina McBride tickets to the first birthday person to come up to the DJ booth. Joel won those. Then they gave away two sets of CDs. After that they gave away Keith Urban tickets. As soon as the one song ended I turned to Zach and told him I should have run out to the car to grab my purse since it has absolutly EVERYTHING in it. Then they called out for the tickets. First person to come up with a stick of deodorant won the tickets. It ended up being a girl that was with us Jenn that won them. Well turns out the concert is tomorrow night and she has prior engagments, so she can't go. I don't really know her well, but of course I volunteered to take the tickets. I even told her I'd pay her for them. She ended up just giving them to me! $60 tickets! I was so excited!! I felt really bad for her though. If that was me and I couldn't go, I'd probably cry or call off my other plans. I promsied her I'd take lots of good pictures. All she wanted was to be allowed to come to our house for beer pong on Saturday night. haha. I told her no problem and told her I'd buy her a bottle of anything she wanted.

I'm so excited to go to this concert! I asked John if he wanted to go, but he really doesn't like country so I asked Whitney. I'm still waiting for her to get back to me on it. I told her to text me when she decided, but I never heard from her. Ralphie said he would go though, and I know that if it came down to it John would go. I really want to take someone who is going to enjoy themselves though. Hopefully as much as me! I hate going places with people when they aren't having a good time because then I don't have a good time! Oh well, we'll see what happens!

Anyway, I'm off to bed. I have to be up early to go to John's class lunch! Goodnight!
